About me
I take great pleasure in collaborating with publishers, established authors and emerging writers in a variety of ways.
As an editor I work on all forms of fiction and non-fiction but have a particular passion for children’s and YA books. Editing services I offer include: developmental editing, line and copy editing, proofreading, manuscript assessments and beta reading.
I am a past curator of Bendigo Writers Festival and have interviewed many of Australia’s best writers and thinkers over the past decade. Aside from editing, there’s nothing I love more than delving into the stories behind the books people are reading and talking about. Interviewing an author one-on-one, hosting an event or chairing a panel of creative thinkers is a privilege and such fun!
I'm also a professional reader and reviewer and a long-time advocate of the Australian publishing industry. I’ve been a judge for several of Australia’s writing prizes including The Davitts, the Aurealis Awards and the Mulga Bill Writing Awards.
